A cycle of large-format paintings from which my journey with organic materials began. The starting point for creating them was my solitary experiences deep in the forests by mountain streams or near incredible rock formations. Once I returned from these places I felt sadness and longing and when I saw how people treat nature I felt pain and anger. I wanted to express and explore this archetypical feelings.

I created the paintings using a unique technique that incorporates natural materials: charcoal, dolomite, turmeric, vegetable oils, clays, colored earths, beeswax, flour-based glue, and hemoglobin.
